The American Idol Top 4 (Take 2) show is on. Angie Miller has performed twice, both songs were very good. I loved both, her first performance of Rihanna's "Diamonds" was for me better than Rihanna's. Angie's second song "Someone to watch over me" was also fantastic and obviously Keith Urban didn't do his homework since with his first question to Angie he said, why did you pick that song ? Duh Keith, hello, everyone but you knew Angie picked the song for her MOM. Geez Keith what an idiot he can be sometimes. For me tonight is an off night for all 4, but, especially for Amber. Her first song was terrible, while Candice song was only very good like Angie's and definitely not up to a standing ovation. Kree's first song was at best very good again, but as for the song, I didn't like it when Carrie Underwood did the song on Idol and Kree's version although better than Carrie's still was not any better than a very good. As for having to go through the top 4 a second week it has been a total disaster. They didn't use the save after the top 5 and that should have been that, but, instead we have all had to suffer through tonight's Top 4 Take 2. Last week's top 4 competition was much better than this weeks. All in all though Voting, Voting, Voting is the most important thing tonight. Make sure you vote for Angie to take her to the top 3. Regarding guest mentor Harry Connick Jr, I like Harry Connick however, having him on the show tonight has been a total waste. His input into all the contestants songs was such a total disappointment and it is so obvious to everyone that he is only on the show to provide shameless promotion for his new CD. I hope his CD is better than tonight ridiculous CD tie in, but wait, I'm sure we will all be treated to a performance by him tomorrow. Amber's second song is now complete and did the judges have a script to read or did they actually listen to Amber because it was not near as good as her glowing critiques. Candice on her second song was very good but nothing special, another standing ovation from the judges (yawn). Last song of the night is Kree and once again it doesn't look like she is having any fun. She has looked that way now for weeks. With her second song "Stormy Weather" it captures the whole Top 4 take 2 show tonight. It never should have taken place. Simply put Amber or Candice should have gone home last week. You can see it in the competitors, they are worn out and having trouble putting forth full effort on Top 4 Take 2 of American Idol. TOP 4 WEEK BREEDS UPSETS so vote at American Idol Vote Online, Phone or Text . *** Bonus another group song, after tonight's performances it might be the best thing all night, it certainly was the most exciting. Show is over, Time to vote. ***
Listen with headphones, Angie's voice is so amazing and best of all it is so radio friendly which in the music business is the so called acid test.
Keith made a comment that Angie's version of "Diamonds" didn't go anywhere, hello Keith, knock, knock, listen to the original, hello, the song doesn't go anywhere, if you judge it on that then Angie's went places Rihanna's didn't go. Geez Keith, finish your lunch because your comments continue to show that you are still out to lunch sometimes.

Angie Miller American Idol Top 4 Take 2 Show Review Critique by Steve Forrest Writer
Angie Miller needs your vote tonight, so VOTE, VOTE, VOTE. Easiest way to vote is American Idol Vote. It is American Idol Top 4, historic for upsets and crazy unpredictable moments. Many favorites have gone down during American Idol Top 4. This is no time to feel secure about Angie, some people have gone down after their best performances. So vote.
Angie Miller's first two performances have been great. One to go.
According to sources this week the American Idol top 4 theme will be "One Hit Wonders" and "Contestants Choice". What will be Angie Millers choices for these two categories. Perhaps for Contestants Choice Angie may choose her own song "You Set Me Free". For 1 Hit Wonders the possibilities are endless. Angie may wish to go to the piano for both songs. This week is notorious for unexpected turn of events, however, with the American Idol SAVE still in effect the result could be overturned. In past years the American Idol SAVE was available until top 5 but with this past show it was still in effect. The producers of the show have left this technicality vague on purpose, another somewhat clumsy way to hopefully boost the rating and the water cooler talk.
Angie Miller makes top 4. Another rung up the ladder for Angie Miller on her way to possibly becoming the next American Idol. The title of the first idol was American Idol "Search for a Superstar" Angie Miller is the only one this year with the potential of becoming a Superstar.
1. First the Donna Summer group song was not good. Who ever chose that for an American Idol top 5 medley made a terrible song choice. None of the individual girls were given a verse that could be sung well, ie the song fell flat. Hopefully whoever chose that song doesn't put in their two cents when the competitors choose their song.
2.Jimmy Lovine makes good comments but he is also way off base. Angie's performance of "Halo was stellar on this I agree with Nicki. I can't believe that Jimmy keeps finding ways to knock Angie, Angie is Jimmy Lovine's meal ticket for the next ten years but he has to really start listening to Angie instead of having a love fest with Candice every time she sings. Candice can sing but what if she wins, is she going to be the next Fantasia? uh probably. Even Jennifer Hudson who is way better than Fantasia has trouble finding a market for her songs.
3. Clay Aiken - his BoTW song came across weird and it was uncomfortable looking at Clay, maybe some work - his famous "Bridge of Troubled Waters" from 10 years ago was amazing. See video below.
4. Fantasia - not good - never ever heard a singer calling out here comes the "chorus" here comes the "bridge" when those two parts enter the song came up, hopefully she wasn't reading her cue cards.

Songs tonight were perfect choice, I was scared when I heard Angie was going to do Halo but she nailed it, of course she is always great on piano. The video above is of Angie doing Yesterday, listen to it again, it is simply the best version (sorry Paul McCartney) I have ever heard, Angie soars with this song and takes it to a whole new level.
