The 44th President of the United States of America

"What is happening today is not about me. It's about the American people...What started out as an improbable journey...that is how change happens in America. Young people getting involved and teaching in America...Young people everywhere are in the process of imagining something different then has happened before. Where there is war, they imagine peace...I promise you that America will get stronger, more prosperous, more secure, and YOU are going to make that happen." President Barack Obama.

Today I witnessed the swearing in of President Barack Obama. It was amazing. We arrived in Washington D.C. this morning with 1.5 million people from all over the Globe. We all walked, shoulder to shoulder to the various areas that some were assigned to - happily standing in cold weather, anticipating the moment that had really truly arrived. When Michelle and Barack Obama stepped out of the limousine and walked down the street headed for Pennsylvania Avenue, my heart just leaped!

It's a wonderful, new day in America. Will you do your part to make this place we call home, a better place? The choice is yours.

Congratulations America!
