Warner Brother's Exhibit | The Paley Center 2012

What, with this being the 60th year of Warner Bros. in classic TV, it would only make sense for them to Collaborate with
The Paley Center For Media - right?
As early as I can remember, Warner Bros. Entertainment Company has consistently been a head of the 8-ball -  in film, music and Television (TV - remember that word?).

So, when I learned that The Paley Center For Media and
Warner Bros. were teaming up and taking TV  "Out of the Box" -
I thought to myself, "This is going to be an exhibit worth seeing!"

WHERE Magazine LA hosted a fabulous roof-top event at the Paley Center For Media, and invited a select group of people to take a private tour. Lana Leazer called me up and said,
"Carla, are you going?" But of course...
Who can resist a nice glass of

Well, Warner Bros. celebrates 60 years of classic TV.
There's notes from various animated Hanna-Barbera episodes of the "Flintstones" (Willllmmmmaaaaa!),  "Scooby- Doo!"
(and Shaggy too!).

What about some of the outfits that Connie Stevens wore in
 77 Sunset Strip?  Yep!

When I saw the black hat and the green knitted scarf on display,  I remembered way back when I was just a child,
and sat there starring at the TV, watching  Ben Vereen wear that very same black hat and green knitted scarf when he portrayed the character
Chicken George in  Alex Haley's TV Epic,
Roots: Saga of an American Family(1976,  with 130 million viewers).
We were little girls when Linda Carter first stepped on the TV screen, in original costume from the TV show,
Wonder Woman (1975-1979) - the red, white and blue, outfit, boldly symbolized the home of the free and the brave!

The Dukes of Hazzards (1979 - 1985), had a character that all of America fell in love with,
Daisy Dukes - and they have the actual Daisy Dukes short outfit on display.

"ER" TV Show

Then there's the costume that Dr. Douglas "Doug" RossGeorge Clooney's character, wore on the TV show,
 ER (1994-2009).

Remember the episode of
"Friends"(1994-2004)
when Dr. Ross Geller - David Schwimmer's, character,
"Friends" TV Show
couldn't get his black leather pants up?!
Well, the black leather pants are there, and once you see them in person, you will see why he couldn't get them up!

There is a section where one can sit down and sing along to some of your favorite TV shows. We stopped and pick up audio devises and listen and watch various episodes of quite a few TV shows, and getting a chance to see the costumes was really a nice touch.

There are plenty of rides for children ages 2 +, so bring the entire family!
The items on display will change periodically so as to keep the exhibit a venue that you'd want to pop in and visit periodically, just to see what's been added. Remember, Warner Bros. is always ahead of the 8-ball...
